Nick Stillwell’s revolutionary engineered plastics technology was born of sheer desperation. It was 2008, the global economy had nosedived and orders at Stillwell’s company Protomax Plastics had dried up overnight.
“Things were dire. I either had to get a job or invent a wonderful new product and I definitely didn’t want to get a job,” he says.
